[100710] Battle of the Bands: Elimination (WINNER)

After a long wait, the day has come! TGIS members, Ehmerita, Kathline, Bia, Alexa and Kelsy or also known as 'Synergy' has already performed live for the Battle of the Bands: Elimination Day at Mary Help of Christians School. The winner for this elimination will be the school's representative for the actual Battle of the Bands at Malayan Colleges Laguna.

The girls did a great job. There are 5 bands who competed during the elimination. The bands that are included are 'Pandora's Emerge', 'Salesian Army', 0914, BOF and of course, our very own, Synergy.

The girls played Akap by: Imago. KAthline is their vocals and guitarist. Alexa is their bassist, Bia on the guitar, Ehmerita as their drummer and Kelsy as the keyboardist. There lot of flaws before the actual thing could start. But despite of that, they are able to play well. The crowd was screaming for them. The heat inside the hall can really be felt! When Kathline started to sing, TGIS and other artists roared up! They went so wild.

After playing their song, the girls watched the other bands' performance. As they are watching them, Kelsy is starting to think of negative thoughts. "I'm nervous. I think we won't be able to get any place" she even told Kathilne.


The girls are really akward but still excited with what will be the results of the competition. When each band is already done playing for the crowd, the judges started to make their decisions. The judges moved away from the place first as they make they're making the FINAL decision.


"May the BEST BAND WINS!" the hosts, Chin and Jinko chanted as they ended the program.


Then, the final moment has already arrived. It has been set, the judges has made the final decision. There was total silence as everybody waits for the GREAT announcement. When Fr. Bobby announced that the winner is Group 2 (Synergy). There was silence. Nobody clapped. Nobody howled. They are motionless. But they know that SYNERGY has won! EVERYBODY IS SPEECHLESS!

But the girls, on the other hand, has no idea. They are confused with what is happening.
"What?! What is Fr. saying?" Alexa asked her co-members confusingly. "Did we just won?" Kathline asked in confused manner. 0914's drummer, Lando, is smiling at them and told them they just won.

The girls reacted so late with the exciting news that they just heard.
And now, they'll be practicing everyday for the upcoming event at Malayan.
